I just heard about this…pretty cool stuff.
Jan. 26-27: Nintendo will be on hand at Safeco Field for FanFest to show off the Nintendo Fan Network, a free downloadable application that gives access to baseball-related content on Nintendo DS systems during Mariners home games. NFN users can access a menu of interactive options including: a live video feed of the game, scores from others MLB games in progress, player stats and team standings, trivia and word search games against other fans and the ability to communicate with other fans via Nintendo Fan Network messaging.
Very cool. Kind of reminds me of the MyLeaderboard devices that are sometimes given out at golf events, but usually just for VIP guests. This is great because it’s free. I guess the disadvantage would be that you have to bring your own Nintendo DS (Is this correct?). I wonder if the team will rent any of these systems–I bet diehard fans would pay a little extra to have access to this.
Helps to have Nintendo’s U.S. headquarters in your backyard to get stuff like this done.
where can youbuy the food ordering chip/baseballwatching game for your DS
