		<description>Actually, you raise another good point. There are several ways that users can rate other users. There's a star rating system attaced to comments (on profile pages, blogs and photos). These stars ratings will be combined with points earned through some algorithm to give the user his / her overall rank in the community.</description>

		<description>The points table you posted would favour someone who was active, but did not necessarily further the website with  useful content, insight, individuality and general "stickiness".

In other words you value "quantity" of activity over the "quality" of activity on the site.

Perhaps adding a component of cred that is based on peer ratings of people's contributions would be an improvement.

But maybe I miss the whole point - perhaps "banter" is what it's all about !</description>
