I’m not a player, just an academic. But I am very sold on the idea of unconference as a way of bridging gaps, empowering conversation and bringing people together. I’ve tried a couple local unconferences here in Bloomington (more info at www.blogschmog.net/blog/?p=624 and www.blogschmog.net/blog/?p=694) with a focus on local interest. I would love to participate in one on community building as it applies to sports.</description>
