We leave for Michigan tomorrow morning. Going to spend a week at “family camp” on the shores of Lake Michigan. Then I’m back for two days and head off to Ireland with my birth family (parents + 7 siblings). Never been to Europe before, let alone the old sod.
So it will be some time before I post again. Waiting for me when I return will be the usual stack of business books. Looking forwar to reading:”The Long Tail,” “Revolutionary Wealth,” and “Success Through Failure.” Those are all sitting on my nightstand beckoning.
Also waiting for me is our Web site project at work. We’re plodding along and making progress, but our goal of September launch is looking shakier every minute. Wait until you see the new www.colts.com!
Also my friend, Doug Karr, and I will be launching a new Web site www.ichooseindy.com. We’re trying to ignite a grass roots movement to enlist the citizens of Indy to voluntarily submit their testimonials about living here. We believe the blogish site will do more to attract the creative class to Indy that any advertising campaign ever could. So I guess we’ll see, won’t we??
So unless God steers me another direction, I’ll be back posting again late in July with the renewed enthusiasm that comes with the approach of Fall.
